1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Contact information you provide. When you submit a message through the contact form on the Site, we collect the name, email address, and message contents you provide.
• Mobile phone number and SMS consent. If you enroll in Forge SMS, we collect the mobile phone number you provide and a record of your consent to receive automated text messages.
• Technical information. When you visit the Site, our hosting provider may automatically log limited technical information such as IP address, browser type, referring URL, and timestamps, for security and operational purposes.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Respond to inquiries you submit through the contact form.
• Operate and deliver the Forge SMS notification program, including sending workflow status alerts (e.g., build complete, build failed, error notifications) to your registered mobile number.
• Maintain records of SMS consent and opt-in/opt-out activity for compliance purposes.
• Operate, secure, and improve the Site.

We do not use your information for marketing or promotional purposes, and we do not sell your information.

3. SMS / Text Messaging Program

This section governs information collected through the Forge SMS notification program.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates, both internal and external.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except for aggregators and providers of the text messaging services (for example, our SMS delivery provider, Twilio) for the sole purpose of delivering the messages you have requested.

4. How We Share Information

We share information only as described below:

• Service providers. We share information with vendors that help us operate the Site and the Forge SMS program, including our website host, email-delivery provider (Resend), and SMS delivery provider (Twilio). These providers may process information solely to provide services to us and are contractually obligated to protect it.
• Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, court order, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
• No marketing sharing. We do not share or sell any personal information — and in particular, no mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data — with any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.

5. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect the information we collect, including encryption of data in transit (HTTPS) and access controls on systems that store personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain personal information only as long as needed to provide the services or to meet legal, accounting, or compliance obligations.

• Contact form submissions are retained for up to 24 months unless required longer for an ongoing matter.
• Mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records are retained for as long as you remain opted in to Forge SMS, plus the period required by carrier and regulatory rules (typically 4 years after opt-out) to evidence consent.

You may request deletion of your information at any time by emailing privacy@harebrained-apps.com. For SMS, replying STOP, CANCEL, QUIT, END, or UNSUBSCRIBE will also opt you out and trigger deletion of your number from active sending lists.

7. Your Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your personal information.
• Opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP, CANCEL, QUIT, END, or UNSUBSCRIBE.

We will respond to verifiable requests within a reasonable time and consistent with applicable law.

8. Children's Privacy

The Site and Forge SMS are intended for individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated through a notice on the Site or, where appropriate, by email or SMS to affected users. Continued use of the Site or Forge SMS after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
